A SUPERMARKET has been fined £36,000 after products were found to have inaccurate allergen labelling posing a potentially deadly risk to customers.
-
Environmental health officers from Pembrokeshire council's food safety team found three potentially dangerous products at CKs Supermarket Ltd in Narberth. Concerns regarding the labelling of products had previously been raised both in store and with the company's head office, but this had failed to secure compliance with regulations. Due to the serious risk inaccurate allergen labelling could cause, the council took action.
