Politician mum of First Minister dies

ELAINE MORGAN, the mother of Wales' First Minister, has died.
Mrs Morgan, a politician in her own right, had Alzheimer's disease and died on Thursday.
During a visit to Wales on Friday, King Charles offered his condolences to her grieving family.
"I'm so sorry to hear about the First Minister's mother," the King told deputy first minister Huw Irranca-Davies.
Eluned Morgan missed First Minister's Questions last week to be with her mother at her Pembrokeshire home. She had spoken publicly about the reality of being a carer for her mother.
Eluned Morgan had previously spoken about the reason she wanted to enter politics was the open-house policy her parents had at the vicarage where they lived in Ely, Cardiff, saying that, growing up, the door would be knocked on at all hours by those who needed help - and how many of Labour's most famous faces would be found at their dining table.
A wife to Reverend Canon Bob Morgan, who himself died in 2011, and mother to four - David, Philip, Rhys and Eluned - Elaine Morgan went into politics becoming a councillor in Cardiff.
