Wrexham triumphed 4-3 in a penalty shootout on Friday night to advance to the fourth round of the tournament after a thrilling 3-3 draw, having previously led 2-0 and 3-1.
Parkinson spoke about his prematch conversation with the Deadpool star, saying: "I had a chat with him before the game and it was great to see him over here with his family."
He added: "I think Ryan's mum was here tonight, which was for the first time. So it's really special and I hope they've enjoyed the night.
"I'm sure that on the flight back home they'll be having a few glasses of wine to celebrate."
Wrexham entered the STOK Cae Ras match in excellent form, having won four consecutive games in the Championship.
