The reigning champions replaced Usk at the summit thanks to their four-wicket win over Ynystawe.
The Swansea Valley side started well, with skipper Nathan Lee (45) and Tom Blake (22) combining for an opening stand of 72.
But from there the home bowlers took command, with Rhodri Lewis claiming 4-23 and Owen Morgan 3-22 as Ynystawe collapsed to 139 all out.
The Stags then recovered from los-ing two wickets in their opening three overs to reach their target in the 38th over of their reply.
Morgan rounded off a fine game with a steady knock of 55 not out.
Usk slipped from top to third after losing by eight wickets at Pontarddu-lais.
