Man jailed after breaching court order for nuisance behaviour

A MAN who repeatedly annoyed people in a Welsh town has been jailed after police officers found him acting in breach of a previous Criminal Behaviour Order.

Alan Newton, 61, has been put behind bars for 36 weeks after officers discovered he was making inappropriate sexual comments while drinking from a wine bottle in Newtown on October 5.
Newton was already subject to a Criminal Behaviour Order following a series of alcohol-fuelled incidents in the town, according to Dyfed-Powys Police.
