|May 20, 2025
MORE than 1,000 people and members of Gorsedd Cymru took part in a procession through Narberth over the weekend to celebrate Pembrokeshire hosting next year’s National Eisteddfod.
The prestigious celebration of Welsh culture will take place at Llantood, south of Cardigan, from August 1 until August 8, 2026, and will be called Eisteddfod y Garreg Las.
Narberth’s event, on Saturday, May 17, was the largest procession to welcome the Eisteddfod to an area for many years, and was followed by a colourful ceremony held in the Gorsedd Circle.
