Conwy must speed up 20mph work to catch up says MS

CONWY Council has been accused of "dragging its feet" over its 20mph review.
-
While other local authorities in Wales have already reinstated 30mph speed limits on some 20mph roads, the council doesn’t expect to make any changes until next year, more than 12 months after its review began.
Clwyd West MS Darren Millar said he was frustrated by the "lack of progress".
In January it will be one year since the council announced it had drawn up a priority list.
In September 2023, the Welsh Government introduced the default 20mph speed limit on restricted roads across Wales.
Following a review of its policy, it then gave councils more flexibility to reassess routes.
