Stadium must come back to Yeovil Town

YEOVIL Town Football Club’s new owner Prabhu Srinivasan has said that one of his main priorities is to get the stadium and land back under the ownership of the club.

It’s been on the agenda ever since the land was sold to the then South Somerset Council in a bid to keep the Glovers afloat during some of their darkest days as a football club, under some pretty treacherous periods of ownership.
Whilst Srinivasan admitted that work on the stadium and the ground isn't quite on top of the priority list, acquiring it back for the fans certainly will be.
Speaking at the Meet the Owners events last week, he said: “In my mind, in my personal opinion, this stadium is one of the best we have in the National League.
“I think we should again thank everybody else who made that happen and I think from an upgrade perspective, not too much needs to be done.
“Let's focus on the first team.
