Putting focus on weddings leaves some venue fans feeling jilted

A RESTAURANT and hotel in Crewkerne has stunned fans by pivoting to focus on weddings and events.
Haselbury Mill made the announcement on social media although it reassured diners that the Sunday Carvery it offers will continue.
According to Haselbury Mill, the changes came into being on May 1. It thanked customers for their support in the past.
In a post on social media, Haselbury Mill said: "From May 1st, Haselbury Mill will no longer operate as a public restaurant and hotel, as we transition to focus exclusively on being a wedding and events venue. We're incredibly grateful for your continued support over the years.
