Henry available following return from earlier injury

NEW Zealand International seamer, Matt Henry will be available for selection for Somerset's Rothesay County Championship match against Sussex which begins tomorrow (Friday) at the Cooper Associates County Ground.

The 33-year-old who was originally due to arrive in early April picked up an injury which delayed his origi nal arrival. Since then, Henry has undergone a phased rehabilitation programme with the New Zealand sports science and medicine team and will now be available through to July 9.
During his previous spell with the club in 2023, Henry was the leading wicket taker in the Vitality Blast and claimed the player of the match award in the final as Somerset overcame Essex to lift the trophy. He also played in six County Championship fixtures, claiming 32 wickets at an average of 16.18.
