Uber Eats and Starship Technology set to replace its couriers with robots
Western Daily Press
|November 21, 2025
UBER Eats and Starship Technologies have announced a partnership to deploy autonomous delivery robots across the UK, Europe and the US, starting in Leeds next month.

Starship, which operates the world’s largest fleet of autonomous delivery robots with more than 2,700 units, has completed over 9m deliveries to date. And by 2027, the fleet is expected to exceed 12,000 robots, handling short-range deliveries in under 30 minutes.
