Tribute match returns for young woman killed by drink driver
Western Daily Press
|November 03, 2025
A CHARITY rugby match held in memory of a young woman killed by a drink-driver is set to return this November — marking its third year of uniting a community in remembrance, sport, and support for good causes.
-
Bethany Branson was just 19 when she died in November 2022 after the car she was travelling in was hit by a driver under the influence.
Since her death, her family and friends have organised the Beth Branson Memorial Match & Fundraiser — an annual tribute that blends her passion for rugby with a campaign for road safety and support for local charities.
