Tigers hold on to secure three points

GLOUCESTER City manager Daf Williams felt relieved after his side held on to win 3-2 against Havant & Waterlooville on Saturday.

City came out strong, with new signing Kane Simpson scoring on his home debut just 15 minutes in.
The Hawks levelled in the 30th minute against the run of play.
The Tigers reclaimed the lead just before halftime, after Michael O’Regan won the ball back to set up Elis Watts who finished.
Then King Baidoo, in the 47th minute, controlled excellently and finished to give a two-goal lead heading into the changing rooms 3-1. The away side scored just four minutes into the half, but they couldn’t find a third goal, and City held strong, taking all three points and getting back to winning ways.
