Struber: We need to do everything on contracts
Western Daily Press

BOSS Gerhard Struber insists that Bristol City need to do “everything” to address the contract situations of players nearing the end of their deals at Ashton Gate, with the Robins head coach saying he “would love” to continue to work with Anis Mehmeti and Zak Vyner.

The pair played crucial roles in the 3-0 win over Swansea on Saturday. Vyner started and helped keep a clean sheet from left-sided centre-back, while Mehmeti assisted all three goals as City secured a first win in four games and climbed back into the playoff places.
The 24-year-old curled a terrific corner onto the head of Rob Dickie after four minutes, before finding Emil Riis - who volleyed home - on the half-hour mark. Then, with less than ten minutes left to play, Mehmeti beat Swansea's backline with a smart through ball, which Yu Hirakawa calmly converted.
