Outcry as city loos could lose £10,000
Western Daily Press
|February 24, 2026
OPPOSITION Labour councillors on Bath and North East Somerset Council are proposing amendments to the council's budget to try and stop a potential cut to public toilets.
-
£10,000 could be cut from the council's public toilet contract, as part of a proposal to cut £250,000 across the council's 25 largest external contracts.
But the council has insisted the 2% cut to the £5m public toilet budget will not reduce the service.
