McAllister is ruled out of crunch clash

ROBBIE Savage insists that Forest Green Rovers’ goalless draw at Boston United in midweek will prove to be a good point if his side can beat Rochdale this afternoon, writes Rhys Anderson.

‘The Green Devils head into the top-of-the-table clash two points clear of Dale, although today’s visitors to the New Lawn have two games in hand.

“At this stage of the season, most people who watch the National League would have thought that first versus second would be Carlisle against York,” Savage said. “But now, ourselves and Rochdale are the best teams in the League because we're first and second.
