Matsuyama wins Hero tournament in play-off

HIDEKI Matsuyama beat Alex Noren in a playoff to claim the Hero World Challenge title at Albany in the Bahamas.
Three birdies in the final four holes from the Swede, who was playing alongside Matsuyama, saw him force the extra hole after matching the Japanese’s 22-under-par total.
However, Matsuyama stuck his approach at the first playoff hole to three feet and made the birdie putt to edge out his playing partner to victory. The Japanese said afterwards: "I didn’t shoot ten under, but very happy to win this week.
