Horse rider death referred to CPS

THE death of a woman who fell off her horse after it was spooked by a motorcyclist has been referred to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) by a coroner.

Jayne Hunt, 55, was riding her horse on Bollards Hill near Seend, Wiltshire, on July 9, 2023.
Police said the animal was spooked by a motorcycle approaching from a blind bend, causing her to fall and sustain serious injuries.
