Quays celebrated an 'exceptional' Christmas in 2025 with festive footfall and sales up from the year before as the Christmas markets returned for their 13th year.Following a 'Super' Black Friday, which coincided with November's payday in 2025, Gloucester Quays recorded a 6.5% year-on-year (YOY) increase in retail sales for the month.
And this momentum carried into December, with footfall for the month rising by 5.5% YOY.
Gloucester Quays Christmas markets was a significant draw to the area, boasting 100 stalls and an ice rink that also saw its busiest year ever.
