Cheltenham moving in right direction - Young

LUKE Young is relishing the chance to “roll back the years” in a more advanced midfield role for Steve Cotterill’s Cheltenham Town, writes Jon Palmer.

Young, 32, had largely operated as a deep-lying midfielder under previous boss Michael Flynn, but the arrival of Ben Stevenson has freed him to push further forward and he is making it count. The Devonian, pictured, scored a brace of excellent volleys in the 2-0 win over Newport County on Saturday, helping the Robins make it seven points from nine since boss Cotterill’s return.
