£25m upgrade for 80-year-old Ribena plant

West factory that produces some of the country’s most popular soft drinks is in line for a £25 million upgrade.As it turns 80 the Suntory factory in Coleford that produces Ribena and Lucozade drinks is set to benefit from a high-tech new production line.
The line will replace two older Ribena lines - one producing concentrate and one ready-to-drink formats - with a new one capable of producing both.
It will also be able to quickly switch to producing Lucozade brands and will allow 55,000 bottles per hour to be produced.
