Memorial and carol service

West Lothian Courier

November 20, 2025

Anyone missing a loved one during the festive season is invited to join West Lothian Crematorium’s Christmas carol and memorial service for some comfort and company.

Whether they are living in - or visiting - the communities around the crematorium, they are welcome to join the event, which takes place on Wednesday, December 10, from 6.30pm; no advance booking is required.

During the service, visitors will be able to see an image of their loved one displayed as part of a memorial slideshow.

They can also write personal messages onto tags for hanging on the crematorium’s Christmas tree and use the site’s white memorial post box for ‘sending’ a Christmas card to their loved one.

If they can’t make it in person on the evening, the service is being streamed live online and can be viewed for several weeks afterwards.
