Penalty blemishes perfect performance

LOCAL racer William Robinson thought he had completed the per fect weekend in round three of the FAT Karting League Pro Champion ship at Ellough Park.

Having raced in Cumbria just two weeks ago, William ventured to Nor folk and produced one of his best ever races with two wins and the fastest, before a penalty for track lim its in the final ultimately demoted him to fourth.
It was thw first time William was racing the cadet kart at this track, having been a bambino in 2023 where William enjoyed the circuit with its fast-flowing curves and tech nical sections.
William qualified second, two tenths off pole, in the pre-final which was action-packed with some great battles and switches of position between the top three. Determined, William eventually took the win and put himself on pole for the final race.
