Hoping for a repeat of maiden victory

FOLLOWING its break at the weekend, Formula One returns with the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday.

It's been a whirlwind start to the 2025 campaign, with Glastonbury driver Lando Norris at the forefront of the Drivers Championship before being usurped last time out by McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri.
While Norris was the favourite amongst most of the bookies to win the title this season, mistakes in qualifying have proved costly in the last couple of races which has allowed the likes of Piastri and defending champion Max Verstappen to benefit.
With only five races of the 24 complete, it’s perhaps little surprise to see the top three separated by only 12 points heading into Miami - which will see extra points on offer during Saturday's Sprint Race.
