Club celebrates a successful campaign

TO celebrate the end of the 2024/25 season, Winscombe Ladies Hockey Club hosted their annual end of season awards night with a glitzy 'Night at the Awards' themed evening.

The red carpet was rolled out and the committee put on a great night to celebrate what has been in some instances a tough but successful season. The club had four teams compete throughout the season in the West Area Hockey League. There was some great hockey played across all the teams, but it was topped off with the third side securing promotion after finishing second in Wessex Division Two.
Vice-chairman Kate Dennis said: "The Winscombe Ladies Hockey Club's annual awards night was a fantastic celebration of the talent, dedication, and sportsmanship that define our club.
