THIS winter school holidays, children across Cape Town have a colourful lineup of activities to spark creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning from robotics and crafts to slime-making and glow-in-the-dark fun.

Robotics workshops in Kuilsriver

Running over two weeks from 7 to 17 July 2025, Robokids offers interactive robotics lessons for children from Grade R to Grade 9. No experience needed just a passion for discovery and fun!

Week 1 (7-12 July):

Grades R & 1: Build a Lego crocodile and program the Cubetto robot on a swamp map.

Grades 2-4: Create Bluetooth-controlled robots using Lego Wedo 2 kits and program them via tablets.

Grades 5-9: Program an EV3 base robot to complete a challenge saving a lion.
