COMIC Con Cape Town is gearing up for a spectacular family outing this year, with a plethora of features and engaging activities for fans of all ages.

From 1 to 4 May 2025 the grounds of CTICC 2 will transform into a vibrant playground, showcasing exciting offerings from the KidsCon Zone, presented by a toy company, designed to make the festival an unforgettable experience for young fans and their families.

Festival Show Director Carla Massmann articulated the event's inclusive goal, stating, “Comic Con is for everyone, so it is important for us to ensure we have something for all visitors. With the show being such a self-expressive experience, it is always so wonderful to see families come out to the show as a unit, all dressed up.”

“The KidsCon Zone will serve as a hub where children can immerse themselves in the magic of cosplay, surrounded by their favourite superheroes come to life.”

Among the many enchanting features, character meet and greets will be a highlight for the young ones.

Kids will have the chance to meet pop culture icons such as Mario and Luigi, the Smurfs, and even the toy company’s beloved Geoffrey the Giraffe.
