Climate finance pipeline unveiled

The UK government-backed Climate Finance Accelerator (CFA) Vietnam on May 25 unveiled a cohort of 13 businesses developing low-carbon projects worth a combined estimated value of roughly $352 million, signalling that climate finance in Vietnam is beginning to shift towards investable pipelines.
The announcement comes as Vietnam faces growing pressure to mobilise capital for its energy transition and climate commitments, while international investors and export markets increasingly tighten sustainability-related requirements.
Implemented by PwC Vietnam, the CFA programme is part of a broader UK government initiative operating in 10 countries, including India, Indonesia, South Africa, and Thailand, aimed at developing pipelines of bankable low-carbon projects.
