Iconic red phone box goes up for sale - with high hopes for inventive use

A RED telephone box is up for grabs for what may seem an eye-watering £10,000 but if the new owner converts it into a business they could make that back relatively quickly.

The Grade II-listed phone box, sits on leafy Winchmore Hill, a suburb in Enfield, where the average home goes for £714,414, according to Rightmove.
Auctioneer Strettons suggest with planning permission the structure could be used for advertising, or turned into a host of businesses including a coffee shop or gallery, with photos showing it sitting right in front of a beautiful blossom tree.
