Clipper fleet to get £59m boost

LONDON'S Uber river service will benefit from a £59 million investment to build more boats and upgrade piers.

Boat company Thames Clippers hopes this move will encourage more Londoners to use the service.
The investment - £29.5 million each from NatWest and Santander - will be spent on new vessels, upgrading pier infrastructure, and improving drydocking facilities.
