'Bennifer' kaput as Lopez files for divorce from Affleck

After a relationship that spanned two decades, two engagements, two weddings and headlines too numerous to count, Jennifer Lopez has filed for divorce from Ben Affleck.

Two decades after being engaged and then separating, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez reunited and married twice - in 2022.

The filing Tuesday in a Los Angeles court was first reported by TMZ, which said Lopez listed the date of separation as April 26, 2024. It added that she did not mention any pre-nuptial agreement.

The pair emblazoned countless tabloid covers and became known, even before such power-couple portmanteaus were ubiquitous, as “Bennifer.”
