The defending Premier champions have started as they hope to go on with back-to-back maximum points wins over Heathcoat and now Sidmouth.

Opener Tim Piper (61) played the anchorman role for B&K towards a 50-over total of 255 for nine. Along the way he shared in stands that took the total of 190 for five.

A stand of 76 for the third wicket with Dan Hardy (38) was topped-up by chip-ins from Jon Triner (21), Adam Kent (30) and Josh Farley (30). Forty-four extras helped.

Sidmouth's Ethan-John Cunningham, the former South African under-19 batter, showed he could bowl a bit too with match figures of five for 40.

Sidmouth ran into early problems against B&K left-armer Ross Acton (4-27), who nabbed four wickets in a running total of 51 for five.

Cunningham (20) was among them. Farley (2-23) turned the screw a little more as 51 for five became 57 for seven.
