Warning of voter backlash if terrestrial TV is switched off

SCRAPPING terrestrial TV could spark a voter backlash to rival the outrage over losing the winter fuel payment, a new poll warns.
With free-to-air licences due to expire in the early 2030s, 75% of voters say they would view ending traditional terrestrial TV as a "betrayal".
