REDS-LETTER DAY AT TURF FORTRESS
The Sunday Mirror
|September 14, 2025
JOSH CULLEN is adamant that history can repeat itself when Burnley face Liverpool today at Turf Moor.
Cullen made his Premier League debut in West Ham's shock 3-0 win at Anfield in 2015, and insists that Burnley believe they can derail Arne Slot's Reds juggernaut this afternoon.
The Clarets skipper (right) refuses to be intimidated by the big-spending champions and league leaders.
Recalling the Hammers historic 2015 victory, Cullen said: "It was my Premier League debut. We won 3-0 that day and I came on for the last three or four minutes. It was a wonderful day, an unbelievable day.
"I think that it was the first time West Ham had won there in about 50 years or so.
"It was a day I'll never forget and it would be nice to get another result when we play Liverpool.
"I think any game you go into, you go into with belief.
