Prepping down to a fine Heart

HEARTS manger Derek McInnes believes today's match against Celtic will provide a “good gauge” of his side's capabilities.

The Jambos can move eight points clear in the Premiership when they host the champions.

And Mcinnes feels his side have been developing nicely for the visit of Celtic.

“We feel ready, the supporters feel ready, and Tynecastle will be ready for it too," he said.

“Regardless of what we've done previously, and there's been some good performances, it doesn't guarantee anything.
