Man held as mum and three kids dead in blaze

A MAN was last night being quizzed by murder detectives after a mum and her three children died in a house blaze.

The deceased a woman of 43, a girl aged 15 and two little boys aged eight and four were found by fire-fighting crews who rushed to the scene in the early hours of yesterday.

Two more victims of the fire, another teenage girl and a woman in her 70s, were taken to hospital.

Police arrested a 41-year-old man on suspicion of murder at the scene of the blaze in Neasden, an area of Brent, North West London.

Metropolitan Police Superintendent Steve Allen confirmed the woman who died was the mother of the three children who perished.
