Chilling warning from longest-serving lag
A SECRET dossier compiled on Britain's longest-serving prisoner warns that he could kill again.
Internal prison reports and psychological assessments give a chilling insight into quadruple killer Robert Maudsley, who has spent 52 years in jail.
In the dossier, seen by this newspaper, Maudsley, 72, is recorded warning he will kill if he is moved to another jail.
One report states: "He has expressed a fear and resistance to moving.
"It has been outlined in his statement that if anyone tries to move him from Wakefield, he will kill someone."
Despite the warning, Maudsley was removed from HMP Wakefield, known as Monster Mansion, and transferred 125 miles away to Whitemoor prison in Cambridgeshire last April.
A tranche of documents also reveals why he killed his first victim, followed by three other men once he was behind bars, believing them to be sex offenders.
