Hackman family 'could shed light on his final days'

DETECTIVES piecing together the last movements of actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa are expected to speak to the Hollywood legend's children.
The French Connection star, 95, is survived by Christopher, 65, Elizabeth Jean, 63, and Leslie, 58, who he had with his ex-wife Faye Maltese.
Hackman and classical pianist Betsy, 65, were found dead in separate rooms of their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on Wednesday.
Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza said it had been a "challenge" to determine the last people the couple spoke to.
