Former Minder star lands acting job after son's recommendation

FORGET nepo babies... in Gary Webster's case he is a nepo dad.
Gary is about to star opposite 22-year-old son Freddie after the young actor proposed him for a part in a play.
Father and son will both appear in Blessings at London's Riverside Studios from this Tuesday until October 26.
Former Minder star Gary, who played Ray Daley opposite George Cole, says: "I'm the nepo dad. When Freddie landed the part, he said something to the effect that his father was sitting around on his backside doing nothing... perhaps they could have a look at him."
Nepo is short for nepotism, and the phrase "nepo baby" implies a young person's career is aided by their famous parent's connections.
