LUKE CUNDLE struck the winner on his debut as Millwall claimed a third successive Championship victory.
The home side were ahead after just 29 seconds through Aaron Connolly, a lead which lasted just moments before Alfie Lloyd equalised.
Tristan Crama's low ball ran for Connolly, who steered it into the bottom corner.
The Hoops responded from a flowing move as Kieran Morgan played the ball into the box for Lloyd to fire in off the post.
The Lions nearly restored their lead in the sixth minute, when Ra'ees Bangura-Williams' shot crashed off an upright.
