Elon Musk's recent appearance at a White House farewell event turned heads—not for his business achievements or policy initiatives, but because of a noticeable bruise and black eye. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO showed up alongside President Donald Trump in the Oval Office on Friday with a visibly blackened right eye, prompting curiosity and amusement among reporters and attendees.
When asked about the injury, Musk responded with his characteristic dry wit. He revealed that the bruise was the result of a playful moment with his young son, X, who is five years old. "We were horsing around, and I said, 'Go ahead, punch me in the face.' And he did," Musk explained, chuckling. President Trump, clearly amused by the story, added, "That was X that did that? ... X could do it. If you knew X."
The lighthearted exchange brought some levity to the event, drawing laughter from the room.
