Little options in hand, NDA doors shut, it's a 'take it or leave it' offer for Pashupati Paras

Pashupati Paras' RLJP faces tough choice amid Bihar election seat talks.

Little options in hand, NDA doors shut, it's a 'take it or leave it' offer for Pashupati Paras

RLJP chief Pashupati Paras

With the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) finding it difficult to accommodate its demands, Pashupati Paras' Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) has been given a “take it or leave it” offer with a section of the party even suggesting that Paras should merge his party with the RJD.

With the RLJP insistent on its demands for six seats including the Alauli seat which Paras has represented six times in the past, the RJD has offered the party that it can either merge the party with the RJD or have two-three candidates fight on the RJD symbol.

The Alauli seat of Khagaria district has especially become the elephant in the room with Paras insisting that his son be given a ticket from the seat but the seat is currently being represented by the RJD's Ramvriksh Sada.

Paras had represented this seat between 1977 and 1980 then went on to get elected from the seat five times consecutively between 1985 to 2005.
