BJP SET TO RELEASE NAMES OF CANDIDATES FOR 144 SEATS IT LOST IN 2019

The names will be announced as part of BJP’s first list.
The BJP has almost finalised the names of its candidates on 144 Lok Sabha seats on which the party lost in the last elections. The names of the candidates on these seats will be announced as part of its first list before the end of the month, said sources who attended the just-concluded National Convention of the party.
The two-day convention also saw discussions on identifying Lok Sabha seats for almost 90% of party ministers who are currently members of Rajya Sabha.
Source said barring two ministers from the Rajya Sabha, almost all of them are likely to get a party ticket in the coming parliamentary elections.
Meanwhile, various state units have started preparations for a drive after Prime Minister Narendra Modi told party workers at the convention to use the next 100 days for educating voters about the BJP government's achievements over the past 10 years.
