Zaqy in Jordan to discuss further ways to support Gaza humanitarian efforts

Senior Minister of State for Defence Zaqy Mohamad met the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Major-General Yousef Al-Huneiti, on the morning of Feb 13 during a visit to the Jordanian capital, Amman.
Mr Zaqy and Maj-Gen Al-Huneiti discussed avenues for further collaboration between both armed forces to support the humanitarian efforts for Gaza, the security situation in the region and geopolitical developments.
Mr Zaqy also thanked Jordan for supporting and facilitating the Singapore Armed Forces' (SAF) transfer of the Republic's humanitarian aid package for Gaza.
In a statement, the Ministry of Defence (Mindef) said Mr Zaqy's visit to Jordan underscores the warm and friendly defence relationship between the countries, which has seen regular professional exchanges between both armed forces.
