This HDB flat in Sengkang was designed for a couple who love to entertain
Having waited almost six years for their Build-To-Order flat in Sengkang, Mr Melvrick Goh and Ms Zhi Min Ong were excited to finally collect the keys.
The couple, who are in their 30s and both IT professionals specialising in software product development, wanted their first home to evolve with their life stages.
They plan to start a family in the future but, for now, the 1,274 sq ft HDB unit is just for them.
With this brief in mind, design consultant K.S. Tee from Ovon Design proposed removing the walls between two bedrooms and combining the spaces into a larger common room that serves as an entertainment-cum-study area.
