Spurs Could Finally Find Success, After Levy's Exit

Daniel Levy's departure from Tottenham Hotspur was a shock, but perhaps not a surprise.
Spurs' management structure had been undergoing a period of change throughout 2025. The executive chairman's role had become far less day to day.
That the Lewis family, whose trust owns the club, were looking for outside investment, was an open secret. The Lewis Family Trust owns 70.12 per cent of Enic, the company that holds 86.91 per cent of the shares in Spurs. Levy and his family members own the other 29.88 per cent of Enic.
Since 2001, Levy had been Enic's main man at Spurs, presiding over a mixed legacy. When Vinai Venkatesham, the executive who revived Arsenal's fortunes in the years after Arsène Wenger's departure, arrived at Tottenham in the summer as chief executive officer, it signalled a change in direction towards what seems a clean break with Levy.
