I hope Budget 2025 will allocate more funds to enhance the cleanliness of our public spaces, ensuring Singapore remains a home where we can live, work and play.
Canals, such as the sections near Ulu Pandan and Newton, seem to be laden with sludge, silt and self-sown plants. I hope more funds could be allocated to conduct dredging, desilting and other maintenance works so that our drainage system can cope better with peak stormwater run-off.
