Singapore stocks closed higher on Dec 2, following gains in Asia led by Chinese shares. The benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) rose 12.06 points or 0.3 per cent to 3,751.35.

Advancers led decliners 328 to 192, as 945.9 million shares worth $910.4 million changed hands.

Genting Singapore was the top gainer on the STI. The counter was up 2 per cent or 1.5 cents to 78 cents. OCBC was the top decliner, falling 0.5 per cent or eight cents to $16.20.
