Singapore airdrops close to 15 tonnes of humanitarian aid in Gaza

A Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) aircraft delivered close to 15 tonnes of medical and food supplies to Gaza as part of an airdrop operation from Aug 12 to 25.
The Singapore Armed Forces' (SAF) second such airdrop was conducted with foreign air forces. It included supplies that made up Singapore's ninth tranche of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
In a statement on Aug 25, the Ministry of Defence said an RSAF C-130 transport aircraft delivered 14.9 tonnes of humanitarian supplies as part of the mission.
The crew have since returned safely from Jordan.
They were supported by the Singapore Army's 3rd SAF Transport Battalion and SAF defence partners.
