VALLARTA - South Africa's Aldrich Potgieter is feeling cautiously hopeful, after he shot a four-under 67 to maintain the lead through the third round of the Mexico Open at Vidanta World in Vallarta on Feb 22.
He is at 20-under 193 for the tournament, holding a one-stroke edge on fast-charging Brian Campbell (64).
Germany's Stephan Jaeger (66) is a further two strokes back at 17 under, Alex Smalley (64) sits at 198 and Ben Griffin (67) and England's Aaron Rai (68) share fifth place at 199.
Potgieter, 20, is seeking his first PGA Tour victory in his 10th appearance on the circuit.
